Embracing Different Cultures

by Nasisr
(South Carolina)

My wife is a typical southern raised part German, part Irish, Part cherokee etc.

I was raised in Pakistan as any other kid but have family roots tracing back to Arabia.

We respect each other's culture, food and ethics. We have been married for 10 years but we continue to show each other finer cultural points via movies etc as well as celebrate our days cooking Indian, Chinese, German, Swedish, Italian, Texmex or just simple southern comfort food.

And we feel there is a lot more for each of us to learn. our daughter of course gets to enjoy this variety right at home.
