With me, a key for happiness was learning to focus on what I can do instead of being brought down by negatives that I cannot control.
The top two tips are:
1) You are where and what you are now. There is nothing you can do about the past. Feelings of guilt, envy, and hate are a waste of energy. Learn from the past and let it go. Focus on making better decisions in the future.
2)All you can do is all you can do. If you do all you can do, you've done enough. Understand what you control (yourself) and don't take responsibility for events that are beyond your control.
