This Is the Place of True Strength

I think one of the most important qualities of a good leader is humility. At the core of our essential nature, we are humble.

When we are humble in a leadership capacity, we realize we aren't better than any other, we aren't above any other, and we are just as capable of any other of succeeding and failing.

From this place, we can enter into true creative collaboration, inviting others to join us in discovering new, innovative territory, not simply the old ways, repackaged to look new.

This is the place of true strength, coming from our humanness and inviting others to join us here. Perhaps from this place, something new, something real, something truly creative can emerge. We certainly need that now.
