News Puts It In Perspective for Me

Great question. I have always been a great believer in watching the news, not only for information, but also to help me put things in perspective. By watching the news, I remind myself that, although I am not rich, I am probably better off than most of the people on the planet. I have food on the table every night, a roof over my head, a job, a terrific family and great friends.

It is hard to complain about the "stress" of shopping for presents when one sees the stress of others struggling with famine, wars, natural disasters and a host of other challenges.
