Most professionals, particular technical people, are very intelligent, but sound less intelligent when speaking to people who are not as technically competent.
Some keys are: to learn to be introspective, in other words, know thyself.
In doing that, a person learns to know others and interact well with others. We are all people and the same things cause us to be engaged or not engaged.
