Employee Development

This track was designed to provide a framework for moving a department forward - after conflict, after consolidation, after downsizing.

It begins much like the Assessment Track, but it typically reviews more than one position.

These steps are completed for every position within the department:

Subject Matter Experts are selected - usually from 3 to 10 individuals - who have a vested interested in the success of the position.

The SME's attend a facilitated session with a certified Priceless Analyst  The facilitator's job is to lead the group to creating a list of five Key Accountabilities for the position. The facilitator will keep the group focused on the goal and will help them reach concensus - so that they all agree on what the key accountabilities are.

Each SME completes a job assessment, defining what they believe the job requires for superior performance.

The Priceless Analyst  compiles the results from all the assessments and provides the Master Position Benchmark for each position.

Each employee completes the Talent Assessment for his/her position. The Priceless Analyst compares the results to the position benchmarks.

The Analyst briefs the management team on the results, and then meets with every member of the department to share their individual assessments.  Development plans are created and shared with the employees also.

Coaching Reports can be provided as well. These are detailed reports that give managers easy-to-follow guidelines for working with their direct reports, suggesting approaches and language that will be properly received by the employee.

Plans for follow-up are made, and the company moves on to the Skills Track.
