Difficult to Do

Excellent article. My thought wasn't that it was an forgotten skill, rather it is difficult to do.

As I thought about this, I get 200+ emails a day, as the majority of my direct reports are in different states and parts of the world.

I pride myself in answering them and 'keeping up' 24X7. In order to do this, am I really listening to what the sender is trying to say?

These days you are rewarded for speed. This was a good reminder to slow down. Thanks!
