An Art to Not Be a Door Mat or a Phony

by Paul Terlemezian
(Atlanta, GA)

It is an "art" to be able to take personal responsibility for our actions without becoming a "doormat" (always taking blame) or a "phony" (claiming the blame but not meaning it) or "out of touch" (not recognizing that a failure occurred.)

Successful leaders are recognized by their peers, subordinates and leaders as being effective and consistent regarding personal responsibility.

SUZIE'S COMMENTS...

Paul,

There IS a balance required, isn't there? I like the reference that it's an art. In that this is something we're refining and molding into place on an going basis.

Thank you Paul, the visionary and idea-man for sharing your thoughts.

All the Best, and More!
Suzie
